MagHub Fall Forum 2019

For our third annual MagHub Fall Forum, we’ve decided to increase the stakes. This year, we want your entire team to attend; whether you’re the Account Executive or the Production Manager, we want to see you at this year’s Forum. Last year at the end of the Forum we gathered everyone’s feedback/suggestions and tailored this event to match those recommendations. This Forum is longer, starts at the beginning of the week, is in a unique/entertaining location, and offers more content than ever before, from our team, as well as your colleagues!

MagHub Fall Forum 2019 Agenda

Day 1 - Monday, August 19th

Project Management: Management of Projects
Presenter: Jeremy Lewis and Sheila Magie (Salon B)
Summary: Every business has projects, and our project managers would know best. Learn about managing your projects within MagHub, and hear the various horror stories from our team, about your team. Just kidding, we have nothing but nice things to say about your team.

Websites: The MagHub and WordPress Relationship
Presenter: Tom Bellen and Zach Gilbert (Salon C)
Summary: We will review ways to connect your MagHub instance with your WordPress site with no coding involved! Even Tom can do it! Set up a MagHub Store Front, Webforms, and Subscriptions, to get data directly into your system and working for you.

Forecasting: Pipeline Management for Better Sales Team Performance
Presenter: Nick Pataro and Jenny Oister (Salon D)
Summary: Want to be a successful sales representative? Then you need a strong pipeline, and you need to know how to manage it. Join Nick Pataro and Jenny Oister as they discuss forecasting and pipeline management within MagHub.

Subscriptions: Fully Leveraging Your System
Presenter: Jeremy Lewis (Salon B)
Summary: Subscriptions are one of the most requested features from new prospects; and with the steady supply of updates pertaining to that part of our system, it seemed like a no-brainer that we would have a workshop dedicated purely to it.

Grouping: Creating Contract Display and Invoices
Presenter: Tom Bellen (Salon C)
Summary: Added value still has value! Streamline your customer’s contract and keep your revenue numbers accurate. Group your way to a happy finance team!

CRM: Best Practices for Reps of All Ages
Presenter(s): Jenny Oister and Nick Pataro (Salon D)
Summary: MagHub is anything but a “young person’s game”, there are users of all demographics. Join Jenny Oister and Nick Pataro as they discuss how they use the MagHub CRM specifically, daily to manage their sales business.

What’s next on the horizon for MagHub is often a question our team is asked. Join us at our annual Product Roadmap review as we discuss what’s upcoming in MagHub.

Join a collection of our most active MagHub users as they discuss their experiences with MagHub, and offer feedback pertaining to various topics specific to their publications. Time will be left over for Q&A from the audience.

Event Management: How the Forum Came to Be
Presenter: Zach Gilbert (Salon B)
Summary: Learn how the MagHub Forum came to be, and the road our Event Management module took in order to successfully bring our event in-house, using our system. Be prepared for venting and foul language as repressed memories will surely be presented.

Integration Spotlight: QuickBooks, InDesign, and More
Presenter(s): Jeremy Lewis and Sheila Magie (Salon C)
Summary: With the dozens of integrations available to MagHub clients, it can sometimes be overwhelming which ones could benefit your business. Join Jeremy Lewis and Sheila Magie as they discuss some of the most used integrations, and various ways your business can leverage them.

NERDS: Navigating External Resource Data Systems
Presenter: Rudy Pataro (Salon D)
Summary: Data and API’s oh my! Join Aysling CEO, Rudy Pataro, as he discusses the many uses of the Data Warehouse, and various APIs with MagHub. You’re surely going to geek out over this workshop.

Automation: For the Other Departments

Summary: Often times MagHub’s Automation Module is paired with Support, Production, and Tickets. However, did you know that you can launch email marketing campaigns, and sales strategies using the automation module within MagHub? Join Nick and Zach as they discuss what they’ve used the MagHub Automation Module for, and what your business can too.

Summary: Join Jeremy Lewis as he discusses what Pendo is, and how we use Pendo to build customer relationships and increase platform learning. Also, see how Pendo can help your business grow, by an interactive custom walkthrough.

Payables: Vendor Management Inside MagHub
Presenter: Tom Bellen (Salon D)
Summary: MagHub can help get money in the door, but how are you tracking the money that goes out? Use Payables to keep track of your expenses and provide a way to match up what you buy and what you receive.

At last year’s MagHub Forum we discussed starting a Champion’s Channel to discuss all things MagHub. Since then we have successfully launched the Slack Channel, and needless to say it’s been active on a daily basis. Check out the highlights from 2018 – 2019.
