MagHub on the Road: 2020 Conferences

We’re travelin’ men and women this year!

That’s right, MagHub is coming to publishing conferences, expos and expos near (and far from) you in 2020.

There’s little that beats the publishing industry and that includes its conferences. If you work in any aspect of publishing – whether for an online or print publication, whether in sales, editorial, administration, etc. – the publishing industry has a conference you should attend.

We’ve been to many of them. Sometimes as sponsors, sometimes as purely attendees. No matter: we always get something terrific out of them.

Conference season already is here – the Alliance of Area Business Publishers (AABP) held theirs January 9-12 in Puerto Vallarta,  Mexico (it was great!) and they’re holding their annual conference June 25-27 in Puerto Vallarta again! (Vacation!!!) And we’ll be there. Again!

The Independent Co-Op Mail Dealer’s Association (ICOMDA) will have held its annual conference by the time you read this (held January 23-25). If you attended, we hope you had a great time and came away with great information. We sure did!

There’s still time to register for Parenting Media Association’s (PMA) 20th Annual Conference February 27-29 in St. Petersburg, Florida. We’re located in Michigan and you can bet we’re looking to take a break from winter for a few days and meeting publishers as well as their editors and sales pros.

Niche Media World will be hosting its own annual Super Niche 2020 March 23-25 in San Antonio, Texas.  If you publish a niche media magazine, you need to go! You’ll come away with a lot of terrific revenue-generating ideas and insights.

MediaGrowth Summit 20/20 is next and will be held April 21-23 in Chicago. We were a sponsor at least year’s event and we’re sponsoring it again this year. Make sure you come by our table and say hello.

The City and Regional Magazine Association’s (CRMA) annual conference is coming up May 30-31 in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the event of the year for publishers of regional and city publications. And, yes, we’ll be there!

Finally, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the fabulous (if we say so ourselves) MagHub Fall Forum 2020, September 15-17 in Chicago. We’ve held a few forums before, and this is the first time we’ve held it in the Windy City!

Not only will you thoroughly learn the ins and outs of our end-to-end magazine CRM, but you’ll also have many informative conversations with fellow attendees regarding the current media landscape, see how other publishers are using and implementing MagHub, dive deeper into MagHub’s many capabilities (and how to use that knowledge to your benefit when you return home), and so much more.

In fact, one of the things you’ll learn at the MagHub Fall Forum 2020 is how to use the platform’s event management module to the best of its abilities. Event hosting can be an absolutely terrific goodwill and revenue generator for publishers. Diving deep into this module can help you generate even more revenue through your events.

(BTW: we’re managing the Fall Forum with our event management module!)

We hope we’ll see you at one or more of these upcoming publishing conferences and expos. Until then, request more information about MagHub. (And we’d especially love to show off the event module, of course!)
